Our akonga (students) love the weekly math challenges that are posted on the board. Here was one of our challenges:
I have less than $2 in my pocket. If I share the money out evenly with two people I will have 5 cents left. If I share the money out evenly with three people I will have 5 cents left and if I share the money out evenly with four people I will have 5 cents left. How much money do I have in my pocket?
Some of the students have been working on this for a few days now. Do you know the answer/s?
